Don’t worry, this is as easy as it sounds. Use your screwdriver or cordless drill to remove the existing door hardware from the door. Don’t worry about replacing the original lock or cylinder; you don’t have to.

Our smart door handles come with a toolkit and manual, so they can be easily mounted on your existing lock. You will receive a physical and digital manual with your order. The installation is easy and can be done by anyone, you absolutely do not have to be 'handy' or hire a locksmith.
It is important to know that there must be some extra space/recess in the door for the cable of the smart door handle. This is of course also shown in the manual.

We would like to clarify that our Klink Smart One can still be used even if your door has a different PC size (the distance between the center of the handle and the center of the cylinder). In case your door has a handle-operated system, where the lock is locked by lifting the handle, you can install the Klink Smart One without using a cylinder.
With this configuration, you can still use the Klink Smart One, but the manual locking of the lock is replaced by pushing up on the handle. This activates the deadbolt, which is the locking mechanism of the lock. It is important to note that the deadbolt cannot be opened without a valid unlocking method, such as a fingerprint, code, card, etc.
You can seal the cylinder hole with, for example, a cylinder dummy.
Although you can no longer use the manual locking function (locking with a key), the Klink Smart One still offers a high level of security and convenience through the various unlocking options available. You can still unlock your door via the app, fingerprint recognition, a code or a card, depending on your preference.

Klink - Smartklink is the app that controls our smart door handles. It can be downloaded for free in the Play Store and App Store and offers all the possibilities to let your friends, family and others into your home. For example, in the app you will find the options to set a timeslot, configure Smart Tags, add fingerprints, change the access code and open the door remotely.
In the app you can of course also check when you need to replace the batteries of your kink. For example, the screen shows the accurate battery percentage of your kink. If your battery is almost empty, a push notification will of course also be sent, so that you know that they need to be replaced.
With the app you can control your smart doorbells within a radius of 8 meters Bluetooth connection. This radius can even be extended to worldwide range, by adding Klinks Smart Hub to your home. Once we have received the package including a correct registration of your return, we will ensure that the purchase amount is returned to your bank account within 14 days.
